With 26 years of experience, French Pastry Chef Sébastien Voelker delivered an impressive and captivating showcase of traditional French pastries with a modern twist, blending exquisite flavors using Ohla’s premium fruit products.
At the Vietfood 2024 Exhibition, Ohla and Chef Voelker presented three signature pastries: Croissant, Cookie, and a Healthy option. Chef Voelker skillfully incorporated Ohla’s three new product lines – Filling, Choppy, and Topfill – creating a refined fusion of Vietnamese fruit and French culinary art. Each pastry was meticulously crafted, leaving a lasting impression on attendees.
A standout moment of the showcase was the Biscuit Map of Vietnam, an artful pastry that highlighted Ohla’s uniqueness. For this special dessert, Chef Voelker used Ohla Topfill and Filling to recreate Vietnam’s iconic “S” shape with a colorful display of Ohla fruits. Guests could admire how each region’s identity was reflected through vibrant fruit colors, adding a memorable layer to the experience.
